WHO ARE SIMBA?
SiMBA addresses the needs of individuals affected by baby loss, extending support across the UK and Ireland. The charity contributes Memory Boxes to maternity units, neonatal units, and hospices, aiding families in crafting precious memories. They renovate Family Rooms in hospitals, introduce 'Trees of Tranquillity,' and coordinate events such as Butterfly Releases and Wave of Light services. SiMBA enhances bereavement care by providing healthcare professional training, facilitating closed Facebook support groups, and collaborating with other charities. The organisation is dedicated to assisting families who have undergone the loss of a baby, offering meaningful support irrespective of the gestation stage or the time that has transpired since the loss.

OUR CONNECTION
At the core of the relationship between Active Audio and SiMBA lies a deeply touching connection. Harry, a beloved member of our team, and his partner faced the heartbreaking loss of their daughter Layla Daniella Green on January 19, 2021, following an uncomplicated pregnancy until 33 weeks. In response to this profound grief, Harry wrote 'Layla's Song,' a poignant tribute with all proceeds dedicated to SiMBA, an organisation that played a crucial role in supporting them during this difficult period. While their little Winter Rose is now running around and causing lots of mischief in the sky, we remain committed to fundraising for SiMBA, expressing everlasting gratitude for their invaluable assistance.
Layla's legacy, their picture-perfect princess, will continue to traverse the world through her musical presence, and be adored by all who hold her memory close. With a daddy like hers, she'll likely be up there, serenading the stars every night too.
